The Christmas Sleigh

Jubilee works in conjunction with the other Coventry Rotary Clubs to support local charities.

On 4th February the Coventry Rotay Clubs presented cheques totaling £20,450 to local charities. The main recipients were Myton Hospice and Air Ambulance. A team of dedicated Rotarians and Rotary Supporters workered tirelessly during December taking the Rotary Sleigh to all areas of the City. Their hard work was rewarded by the generosity of local residents who lined the streets of Coventry to see Santa and to donate generously to the collectors buckets.

Coventry Jubilee's chosen charity was The David Scott Trust which supports Coventry Residents who are experiencing difficulties as a result of illness. Professionals such as District Nurses, Doctors, Social Workers etc can apply for grants for their clients to cover the additional costs that are often incurred when serious illness strike.
