President Gail delivered and presented to Katherine the manager of the Blackpool Branch of Lancashire Women’s Centre two new laptops for the use of clients and volunteers at the centre. LWC’’s offers services to women and families across Lancashire and the Blackpool branch, situated in Church Street offers more than most as it has based within the premises help and support for ex offenders and women on probation. Counselling, Health and Wellbeing advice, group work and a food bank are just some of the activities going on during the week. As with every charity and statutory organisation statistics are vital for funding therefore the laptops are essential items for the collation and presentation of these. Clients can also use them to access benefit services and information they may require on a day to day basis.
