The Young Photographers Competition Presentation.

The Awards will take place in Christ Church (next to the Council Office Building), Lord Street, Southport, PR8 1AA from 11am. The Awards Ceremony will last for about an hour (perhaps a little longer) and will include the Young Photographers, Open and SPS Members.

The Young Photographer Awards are given first so they need to be there promptly for 11am. They are then given the opportunity to leave if they want to - most of them do after a group photo - this takes about 25/30 minutes. Speeches are keep to a minimum but they will include one from the president of the Lancashire and Cheshire Photographic Union, The Exhibition Coordinator (SPS) - Les Auld and our own president John Tarpey

The Exhibition is in Wayfarers Arcade, Lord Street http://www.wayfarersarcade.co.uk/event/southport-photographic-society-71st-national-open-exhibition/   which will run from March 24th until  Sunday April 8th.

The winning photographs have now been chosen - enjoy the slideshow above.
