Thursday, September 13th, Board Meeting:

The next Board Meeting will be this evening at 7.30 pm at Sue’s house.

Hilary Brian:

The Club thanked Hilary for all she does for Rotary and especially for District where she was one of the team that organised a very successful conference last weekend.

Lego Tokens from Sainsbury:

If you are not collecting Lego tokens from Sainsburys please pick them up nevertheless as Nick’s grandchildren are collecting them.

Friday, September 7th, Club Charity Golf Day:

Congratulations and thanks to Nick and all who helped with the Golf Day on Friday, September 7th which raised over £1,900.    

Friday, September 7th to Sunday, September 9th, District Conference:

Those who went to the District Conference had an enjoyable and interesting time. The next District Conference will also be in Canterbury on Friday, September 6th to Sunday, September 8th and everyone was urged to put the dates in their diaries so that the Club can organize a group in good time.

Saturday, September 22nd, Pilgrims’ Hospice, Night to Shine:

Forest of Blean RC is organising marshalling for the Pilgrims Hospice on their Night to Shine walk on September 22nd  meeting at 18.15 behind the bike shop on the city wall.. Sunday, September 23rd, Car Parking:

Our next scheduled car parking is on Sunday, September 23rd.  There is a form in the folder and Godfrey needs help thoughout the day but especially in the afternoon so please sign up if you can help if only for an hour or so.

Friday, September 28th, Help for MS Therapy Centre, Fundraising Golf Day,:

The MS Therapy Centre has asked for help on their Fundraising Golf Day on Friday, September 28th at Chestfield Golf Club.    There is a form in the folder if you can help.

Saturday, September 29th, Gardening at the Whit and Tank:

Please note that the date has been changed to Saturday, November 3rd.   There is a revised form in the folder so please sign up if you can help starting at 9.30 am.

Friday, October 5th, Cheese & Wine Tasting Evening, Cheesbox, Whitstable:

The Club asked Ron to organize a Cheese and Wine Evening at the  Cheesebox in Whitstable but so far hardly anyone has signed up so please sign up. The evening will be on Friday, October 5th at a cost of £30.00 per person and there is a form in the folder.

Friday, October 19th, RAF Museum, Hendon:

On behalf of RAFA Herne Bay, David Bowley is organizing a coach trip to the RAF Museum at Hendon on Friday, October 19th leaving William Street, Car Park, Herne Bay at 8.30 am arriving at Hendon about 10.30 and leaving at 4.00 pm.    The cost will be approximately £15.00 per person.     If you would like to go there is a form in the folder.

Friday, March 22nd 2019, Walk4Water:

Apeldoorn have been able to arrange matchfunding for another year.
