Leigh Brown is the City Centre manager for Perth, working for PKC. Involved in digital engagement, business community development, city dressing, place management and regeneration. Supporting a number of collaborative digital projects to support the growth of footfall. Supporting economic development of the City through events, business growth, new business start-up and support. Supporter of Shop Local and Local Currencies. Involved in Destination Marketing.
She is
currently the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Association of Town and
City Management. This position allows her to champion the importance of Place
Management. She is also a board member for Scotland's Towns Partnership. In
both these roles I support parliamentary groups in Scotland and Westminster.
Public Speaker.
She holds
a number of voluntary positions and sit on the board of a number of local
community and social enterprises. This local community involvement led to work
with Carnegie UK developing the TestTown project supporting young people to
develop innovative ideas for town centres.
