Dictionaries for Life

We hand out over 100 dictionaries every year to year 6 pupils in the Morden, Lower Morden. Mitcham, West Wimbledon area who we feel are deserving and will benefit from their illustrations and explanations. We have extended this a few in Tanzania

We recently hosted a wonderful event at West Wimbledon Primary school where past President Philip Watson officially donated 'Dictionaries for Life' to all of the year 6 leavers on behalf of Morden Rotary Club. Current President John de Ronde gave a citation for the pupils.
The dictionaries will be handed out to year 6 pupils as they leave tomorrow. We wish them well in their future education.
Our colleague John de Ronde has also brought a few of these dictioaries to Tanzania in support of his pupils there.
The dictionaries are part of a Rotary in Britain and Northern Ireland (Rotary GB&I) project: https://dictionary4life.com/
