Dictionaries for Life

We hand out over 100 dictionaries every year to year 6 pupils in the Morden, Lower Morden. Mitcham, West Wimbledon area who we feel are deserving and will benefit from their illustrations and explanations. We have extended this a few in Tanzania

In July 2022 we hosted a wonderful event at Sacred Heart Primary school in New Malden where President Margaret Redway officially donated 'Dictionaries4Life' to all of the year 6 leavers on behalf of Morden Rotary Club. Past president and current secretary John de Ronde accompanied the president.
The dictionaries were handed out individually to year 6 pupils as they were to leave the following day. We wish them well in their future education.

Margaret gave the citation commemorating the achievements of the pupils throughout their primary years.

John de Ronde has also brought a few of these dictionaries to Tanzania in support of his pupils there.
The dictionaries are part of a Rotary in Britain and Northern Ireland (Rotary GB&I) project: https://dictionary4life.com/
