Music in the Park 2023

Planning for a return of our ever-popular Music in the Park (MIP) is well underway.

Organising this two-nights concert takes time and the team undertaking the task has been 'at it' for several months now.

Subject to final Club approval and to no restrictions coming our way, it will take place on the evenings of Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th July next year.  The Saturday will have a 1970's theme whilst the Sunday will be a 1950's Rock & Roll party.  There are some great tribute acts being lined up and once confirmed, we will let you know exactly who they are.

Tickets will be on sale (online) from early in the New Year so watch this space.  Prices have inevitably been affected by world events but the organisers are confident that the increases will be very modest compared to almost every other facet of our lives these days.  Exact details will be announced later this year.

All of the 'profits' from MIP go to Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice Care in the Farnham.  Farnborough and the other local Rotary Clubs which help us run the event, do not take any money for their own use.  Over the ten concerts we have run since 2001, we have raised £500,000 for the Hospice and we hope to continue to be able to give generously following next year's event.

With that in mind, as always, we are looking for sponsors, advertisers and raffle prize donors, all of whom will be recognised and thanked through the event's dedicated website, which will be updated with all of the relevant information over the next couple of months.  If you or your company or organisation is interested is helping us raise money for this supremely worthwhile cause, and in being recognised for doing so, please contact Tony Myers on 01252 657574, 07771 977059 or at bramblesclose@gmail.com
