"Working with the Community"

"New Rotarian on the Block"

There were some new faces in August in Kinghorn Village and our guy was one of them. 45 scarecrows sprung up in the village for the popular  yearly fund raising event. "The Scarecrow Trail", organised by Kinghorn in Bloom challenged the local community to come up with unusual scarecrows depicting the work of their organisation or in the case of individuals their takeon a scarecrow. The Club's scarecrow was dressed representing our work with shelterbox and we called him "Shelterbox Chris". Thanks to the skill and imagination of a few Rotarians he turned out remarkably well.
