This morning, Sunday 8th November, Willie Fraser, President of the Rotary Club of Dunmow laid a wreath at the Dunmow War Memorial on behalf of the Club.
The inscription on the wreath read “When you go home, tell them of us and say, for their tomorrow we have our today.” (Kipling - The old issue.)
The ceremony this year was very different, due to Covid-19, with each Dunmow group or association being given a specific time slot to lay their wreath, in order to avoid any form of gathering. The time slot given to the Rotary Club of Dunmow was 8:30am.
