Club Zoom meeting including a talk on inernet security

Tonight we hwld our weekly Zoom meeting for all members present.

Various club matters were discussed.

Rotarian Martin Holborow gave an insightful and informative talk on Internet Security.  There are many pitfalls and traps that can trap the unwary and even the most self proclaimed "internet savvy" amongst us cannot be bamboozled to a certain extent .

Martin talked about how to identify scam mails and cold calling from spurious sources. TV Licencing, HMRC, DVLA and other official sites have been impersonated vwery professionally and are hard to distinguish from the real item.

It was a good talk and everyone learned at least a few details from it.
