BREAKFAST

Presentation:   Emma began by thanking the club for its ongoing support.  Open Your Hearts to Bhutan has raised over £455,000 since its inception.  Our support has gone towards safe electric cooking of meals, a library building, teacher training.  Emma talked about the need for the focus over the last two years on the safe drinking water project.  16 schools have now been equipped with water filters.  Note though that future support will be need to help with the cost of changing filter pads, and general maintenance.  The filter we have paid for is installed at the school at Dekiling on the southern border.

Emma ended by asking those present to consider registering with Amazon Smile, a way of contributing to fund raising while you shop online.

Business:         Sunday is the Christmas food run through Chestfield.  Meet at the usual place at 4.00pm.  14 members have said they will attend.

12th December fund raising stall in Tankerton High street.  More volunteers are needed especially at the start and end of the day.
