Between 12 May and 24 May 40 teams of five each walked the equivalent of 375 miles to raise money for charity. 375 miles is the distance from Norwich Cathedral to Notre Dame in Paris and this was the latest walk devised by former High Sherriff of Norfolk, James Bagge, to raise money for Norfolk Carers and other charities. The Rotary Club of King’s Lynn team, which came third out of the 40 in the race to finish, has so far raised over £2850 and is donating £500 of that to the Norfolk Carers’ charity. The rest will go to the Rotary Foundation to support the campaign to eradicate polio. The photograph shows the five team members sporting their Rotary Ramblers tea shirts.
