In 2021, Coventry takes its place as UK City of Culture, following Hull (2017) and Derry/Londonderry (2013).
Now, we look ahead to the UK City of Culture 2025, a title which Southampton is bidding to win.
But what is the UK City of Culture? How did it start? And what does it mean to win the title?
