Guest Speaker: Roz Adamson - Aquabox.

Aquabox presentation by Roz Adamson

At this month's Friday social meeting Roz Adamson, a trustee of Aquabox, gave an excellent talk and presentation on the work they do in supplying equipment that provides clean and safe water in areas of the world where clean water isn't on tap.

Aquabox is a charity organisation which is volunteer led, with just one employee. They have 6 volunteer trustees, including Roz, 60+ volunteer workers and 23 volunteer Ambassadors around the world, including UK, France, Sweden, Germany, USA, India and Australia.

Aquabox is a recipient of a Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

Their "Gold Box" provides equipment with family filters to provide clean water and costs around £150 each.

The "Family Filters" provide clean water for 5-6 people and costs around £25 each.

The  "Community Filters" provide clean water for 400 - 500 people and costs around £250 each.

Further details on Aquabox can be found on their website >> Aquabox
