We trace a direct line from today via recent ancestors living in the Vale of Glamorgan and Carmarthenshire to the Vaughan family of Golden Grove and the Rhys family of Dinefwr and to x great grandfathers Rhys ap Thomas and the 1st Duke of Norfolk leading opposing divisions at the Battle of Bosworth Field.
Definitely a family at war with itself through the English Civil War, the Wars of the Roses, the Barons struggle with King John and the Crusades.
