Honours for Past President

Cowdenbeath Rotary Club is pleased to recognise the excellent leadership provided by Past Pesident Yolanda Hilton over the past 2 years, guiding us successfully through the Covid Pandemic.

Yolanda started her second term as President in July 2019 and extended her time as President into 2020/21, having previously held the post in 2006/7. Little did Yolanda know that the Covid Pandemic would force dramatic changes in the way that the Club and Rotary organised themselves. Instead of evening meetings we had to move online. Yolanda attended almost all the District meetings and reported back to the Club. An online Racenight was well attended which raised much needed funds for the Charity Account.
At the end of her time as President in June 2021, Members presented Yolanda with a Paul Harris Fellowship to recognise her outstanding leadership. She was then delighted to receive a President's Citation from Rotary in Great Britain and Ireland.
Our photo shows Yolanda receiving her Awards from Maureen Cuthbertson, Club President for 2021/22
