Lunch time meeting - ZOOM Meeting - Future of the club discussion

On Thursday 10th February 2022 President Brian Johnson. welcomed 22 Club Rotarians on ZOOM

President Brian Johnson raised the subject of Rotary in Glenrothes and how we move forward. We are fortunate that Brian effective from July 2022 has agreed to stay on as President for another year and Scott Galloway has accepted the post of Senior Vice President with a Junior Vice President still to be appointed.

Iain Oates advised we now had videos from 4 Primary schools for our annual Ian Chalmers Scots Poetry competition which we will hear recited on Thursday 24th February 2022.

Wilna Roger advised that photographs had been received at the Gilvenbank Hotel for the High School Young Photographer competition which will take place on Wednesday 16th February 2022 at 6.30pm at the Gilvenbank Hotel.  Wilna also mentioned the Muirhead Outlook Mile being held at Gilvenbank Park on Sat 16th April 2022 which we are looking to support.

David Cooper spoke about the planting of hedging, the new welcome sign and the steppingstones project and paths for all at Riverside Park.

This coming week Thursday 24th February 2022 is a lunch time Hybrid ZOOM meeting commencing at 1.00pm. at the Gilvenbank hotel with a meal.
