Sunflowers

The sunflower is the national flower of Ukraine

Rotarians from across the North West were tasked to buy and grow sunflower seeds and sell the seedlings to raise funds for the the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal..

Seven Crosby members exercised their green fingers as seen below.   The plants were sold for £1 each at the Queen’s Jubilee street party held at Halle’s Hub community Centre, Litherland

The funds raised were sent to the Disasters Emergency Committee  where the government matches each sum raised.
