A Winter Wonderful Result.

Undaunted by snow, ice, wind and rain, Bexhill Rotarians, their family and friends have been pounding the streets of Bexhill during December collecting for Bexhill Foodbank and Hastings & Bexhill Mencap plus a number of other local good causes.

As well as the street collections, the Rotarians were also collecting at Tesco supermarket at Ravenside Retail Park on 10^th December and outside Boots in Devonshire Road on 17^th December.

The current total collected so far is well over the £5,000 mark which is a marvellous result and one which far exceeds the £4,000 or so that was raised this time last year.

President Perry Puddefoot summed up this result by saying, “Bexhill Rotary Club has been overwhelmed by the generosity of the general public during their Christmas collections.”  He continued, “Considering the current financial situation and poor weather conditions, the people of Bexhill have once again shown how generous they are.”  Perry finished by saying, “A Big Thank You from me and the Rotarians of Bexhill.”
