Robin Hood Weekend Hosted By Rotaract - June 2023

A number of club members including President Paul, Senior Vice President Sophie and Treasurer Nik spent today with Rotaractors from across the globe at their “Robin Hood Weekend”
The event was hosted by the Rotaract Clubs of University of Nottingham and Nottingham Trent University (District 1220) at the Djanogly International Centre
We celebrated the achievements of the two Rotaract Clubs over the past year, and looked forward to the coming year
We thank the Rotaractors in #Nottingham for an inspiring and enjoyable event. Their passion and leadership have delivered numerous fun, engaging and important events this year that have furthered the cause of Rotary both in the UK & Ireland, and internationally. It was wonderful to share in their celebrations and we look forward to supporting them in the coming year

Rotaractor Ifenna Lex Okagbue was inducted as president of the Rotaract Club of Nottingham Trent University
Rotaractor Adeyinka Ayodole Bakare was inducted as president of the Rotaract Club of Nottingham University
Additionally, Clement Sir-Clem Owums PHF handed over the role of District 1220 Rotaract Representative to Fiona Mugure
As is customary, President Paul inducted the two Rotaract Presidents as honorary members of the Rotary Club of Nottingham for the upcoming year

We shared the £1200 we raised at our annual brass band concert last year between three local charities and last month we visited Emmanuel House to hand over their cheque.
