An evening to celebrate the Summer
Members of Bexhill Rotary Club enjoyed a pleasant evening walk exploring the footpaths and
woodland around Catsfield. Led by Rotarian Perry Puddefoot they made their way along footpaths and
over stiles watched by curious sheep. The trees were still in full green leaf but in the hedgerows were
bright red rosehips and juicy dark violet sloes; the blackberries were still green but their number pointed
to a plentiful crop this autumn and cobnuts, still to ripen, peeked from the hazel branches.
After and enjoyable ramble members repaired to the White Hart and tucked in to a delicious
meal. If you would like to know more about the Rotary Club and it’s activities please see our website
