Huggard Collection - please bring your
donations to our meeting next Wednesday - As well as warm clothing which
could be deposited in our Wrap Up box, the Huggard Centre would also be
very grateful for any of the following for men and women between the
ages of 18 - 35:-
In high
demand - trainers; backpacks; unopened travel size deodorants and
shampoo. They are always in need of used towels and currently are
appealing for warm clean blankets.
Always required
in small and medium sizes - T shirts; jogging bottoms; boxer shorts;
socks; men's jeans; ladies pants size 8-12, thermal gloves.
Shaving
foam, razors, travel size shower gel, combs, hair brushes, nail
clippers, nailcare kits, canvasses, sketch pads, modelling clay, craft
sets. If any of these could be donated as Christmas Gift sets it would
be a bonus.
Wrap Up Cardiff - this project will run throughout October when we are collecting good
quality warm coats, fleeces or gilets. Please ask your family and
friends to search through their wardrobes to look for warm coats they no
longer wear - now is the time to de-clutter. We will have a collection
box in Whitchurch Golf Club as well as other collection points across
Cardiff. Or coats can be taken directly to Safestore on Newport Road
where they have a Rotary collection point outside. The YMCA is booked
for two sorting days on Friday, 20th October and Monday, 6th November
10.00 am - 2.00 pm.
