TREE OF HOPE - ST GEORGE’S CHURCH , DONNINGTON

Many Thanks to St George’s Church and the Community of Donnington for once again our Xmas Sack Appeal

During November, St George's Church asks the local community in Donnington to support its Tree of Hope initiative.

This is when members of the community are asked to take one of the gift tags from the fence at the church hall.

Each tag carries details of the person who they could buy a christmas gift for ( for instance - girl aged between 10 and 12)

On Sunday 26th November they are invited to bring these gifts along to a special community event, when Santa makes a fleeting visit to collect all the gifts. Santa then makes sure that the kind Elves at Chichester Harbour Rotary Club deliver the gifts to those in need within the local Community.

We are extremely grateful for this wonderful support .

FLOWER DEMONSTRATION AND AFTERNOON TEA

more The Club held this bi- annual event at the Chichester Park Hotel on 11 November 2022 Ninety people attended and the event raised £1600, with the money being used to help those most in need in our local community.
