International Service

Giving aid to the Global Village

Rotary's Shelterbox charity in action

The International Service ideal recognises that we live in a global village and we cannot ignore the suffering from natural disasters or the poverty and disease of the third world.

Of the funds that we generate, we do use a proportion for overseas charitable projects and disaster relief. Rotary leads the way in helping to eradicate polio, giving international aid to the third world through education, health and infrastucture projects as well as our ongoing help to the local community.
