Grants are available from the Rotary Foundation for environmental projects and our district supports club projects with District Grants
Our district has entered partnership arrangements with The Rivers Trust and the Friends of the River Wye and has joined the Wye Catchment Partnership.
Source of Life Project
Our Immediate Past District Governor Drewe Lacey championed this partnership with groups such as The Friends of the River Wye and The Wye Usk Foundation.
Rotary Clubs are reinforcing the call for volunteers for citizen science work in the Wye Valley and provide financial support for the work being done.

Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group
Rotary Action Groups are independent, Rotary-affiliated groups made up of people from around the world who are experts in a particular field. Membership is open to all with an interest in the environment, not only Rotarians.
The Environmental Sustainability Rotary Action Group (ESRAG) was formed in 2015 and has ambitious plans to make a real difference in creating a world for future generations where our environment thrives. While this is a global organisation there is a chapter in GB and Ireland.
