How would you like some financial help to increase membership?

District Council in May agreed that a sum of £13,000 be allocated to support Clubs (working individually or in groups) in events, projects or activities that support membership development and growth.

This can be:

publicity materials (written, pullups, banners, videos, social media, etc):

financial support to create potential Satellite or flexible Clubs, Interact, Rotaract and other formats in line with RI Guidelines;

one-off events. 

Activities will be match funded up to £500 per club (or group of Clubs) and should be started in the current Rotary year.

A panel of the current DG (Joan G), current Membership Chair (Alan H) and current Treasurer (Richard F) will evaluate the applications which will be retained by the current Secretary (Chris F).

We are asking Clubs to monitor and review the proposals for impact and effect over a six-month period and also identify whether the proposal format might be suitable for use by other clubs either in D1100 or wider afield.
