Our achievements

in

2015—16

Throughout the year we have done a number of  service activities in the town and volunteering at various events organised by the Town Council.  Projects we undertook were as follows: - painted railings in High Street and the hand rails at St. Mary’s church, with Sandbach Interact Club. Varnished public seats in Sandbach Park. Planted 500 daffodils with members from the Crosses Club and helped children at Sandbach Primary Academy to plant daffodils around their open class room.

AND OUR MISSION FOR

2016-17

Keep our commitment to maintain the Community Garden.

Continue membership of the Sandbach Tidy Town Group.

Consider more painting of church gates and railings.

Liaise with local schools and Sandbach Interact club, re bulb planting and other projects.

Provide marshalls for the annual Christmas Market.

Organise “Know your blood pressure day”

Organise the Citizen of the Year award.

Maintain the Old Town Pump and Town Spout.

Carry out other community tasks as and when they arise.
