A 14K run over moorland tracks and paths near Castle Bolton in Wensleydale in aid of Rotary charities. 2014 will be the 10th year of the race.

Click on RUN 2013 for a report on the 2013 race, which was again a big success. A tenth run will take place over the same scenic route on moorland tracks and paths near Castle Bolton in Wensleydale by kind permission of Lord Bolton. The Start/Finish will again be in the same field, close to Bolton Castle car park. .Traffic free and well marshalled. Start 11.OOam.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Wensleydale for Rotary Charities, under UK Athletics Rules.

We were pleased with the increased entry for our second Saunter, particularly how much people enjoyed the route. So the 2024 Saunter will be over the same route.

This popular Walk/Run was back to normal in 2023, so we hope to see many new entrants in 2024, as well as our regulars, some of whom have been coming for 20 years or more! This year, we are again supporting Yorkshire Air Ambulance.

We meet Monday evenings, monthly for business meetings, others may be for speakers or excursions etc.
