Tony Billson organised this year's walking (and socialising) weekend. The venue was the Alexandra House Hotel. Walks were organised for Friday afternoon (4.8 linear miles) and circular ones on both Saturday morning (5.5 miles) and afternoon (3.8 miles).
The food at the hotel was first class - the maitre d' Bilal looked after us very well. On Saturday evening we even had live entertainment, a man with an electric piano which had the room boogeying within but a few minutes.
