As there is no regular walk planned for January Rose Heath and Richard Parkinson propose to arrange a shorter-than-normal stroll around Stowe Gardens, followed by a pub lunch. This venue has been chosen because there are footpaths which are walkable in all conditions, but unfortunately anyone who is not a National Trust member will have to pay an admission fee.
The plan is to meet in the Stowe Gardens coffee shop, MK18 5EQ at 10.30am and afterwards to retire to:
The Queen's Head
Main Street
Chackmore
Buckingham
MK18 5JF
for around 1.00pm.
Please let Richard know via the link below if you intend to participate either for the walk and lunch, or just for lunch.
PS As both the gardens and the pub afterwards proved so good, we are going back in April for a longer walk.
