Charity Collection

Wed, Sep 9th 2015 at 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

We were privileged to be allowed to hold a charity collection at a private viewing evening at Anderson & Garland's saleroom before their Autumn Fine Art Auction. The proceeds of the collection will be added to the amount we are raising for CHUF

Anderson & Garland Ltd is  one of the premier fine art auction houses in the North East of England and can trace its origins back to 1840.

Sales are held throughout the year, including four prestige auctions of fine art and antiques. The September 2015 Fine Art Auction was held over three days from 15th September 2015 and public viewing opened the previous Thursday. Catalagues are published in advance of the sale and clients who subscribe to receive catalogues in advance are invited to a private viewing evening in advance of the public viewing. It is at this private viewing session that we held our collection

9 members turned out on the evening and we collected the magnificent sum of £516.85 which will be supplemented by a tax back of £129.21 making a total of £646.06. All proceeds of the collection will go to the main charity we are supporting in our centenary year, which is the Children's Heart Unit Fund at the Freeman Hospital.
