A brilliant lunchtime. The admin - that is the choice of loaded plates to bring - worked wonderfully and there was a magnificient spread. John's garden was looking wonderful and got well used. It seemed that most of the club turned up and all enjoyed temselves.
The car parking worked well with members taking turns at John's gate at the start and we were also able to use the drive in the house next door.
The keep fit programme was well used. By this I mean the weather orchestrating a sprint from the garden when the rain started. Then a hesitant more back outside when the rain stopped, followed by a quick return when it was realised that most seats were soaking wet. Fortunately John's house lends itself to a large party and there was plenty of room inside.
Well done John and those who helped to set the house and garden up.
