Rotary Club Lunch Meeting

Fri, Sep 23rd 2016 at 12:45 pm - 2:00 pm

We meet as usual for lunch at 12.45pm. After lunch our speaker will be Ben Pullen, who will be talking on the subject "See it my way". He represents a charity, Eyewish Access.

Eye Wish Access is a not for profit Community Interest Company that offers Vision Awareness Training to enable organisations from the public, private and third sector the ability to provide accessible services to visually impaired 29 Eye Wishpeople. They are a north-east team of accredited vision awareness trainers.

Unlike other training providers, we offer direct access to those with first-hand experience of visual impairment. This is because all of our trainers are accredited and, uniquely, visually impaired.

We work with organisations across all sectors to increase staff confidence and the efficient use of resources.

We train visually impaired people to become accredited vision awareness trainers with Eye Wish Access. This develops their skills, confidence and employability prospects.
