Oct 2018 Visit from Rotary Club Enschede Nord to Cambridge

We Welcome our friends and colleagues from Holland !


This weekend we are delighted to welcome 14 fellow Rotarians and their partners from Europe to our lovely city.

The relationship between the two clubs dates way back and its great to have a turn at hosting this friendly occassion.

FRIDAY 

Standsted pickups are booked for around 11.00am.

The Clubs gather at the Arundel House Hotel for a tasty buffet lunch.

City tour guide Frankie entertains the group as they get a feel for the City and its history.

Dinner tonight is at the Cambridge Brew House, Kings Street - a micro brewery - after a quick tour and tasting.

SATURDAY 

10.30am Kings College Chapel Tour including a unique opportunity to climb up to the roof , walk across the top of the fan vaulting and see the amazing view from the upper ramparts.

Lots of time to visit cafes and shops in the city this afternoon.

Dinner tonight is booked at picturesque Browns, Trumpington Street, in a private room.

SUNDAY

Time to travel home.
