No Apollo-gy from Grenville as he describes the work he did for NASA
Our very own, Dr Grenville Holland, took the opportunity on the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11's moon landing to tell us about his involvement in the NASA project.
Grenville was chosen to be part of the team responsible in analysing the Moon samples brought back to Earth. His expertise as a Geochemist was invaluable in determining the precise chemical composition of the Moon. This work led to a greater understanding of how the Earth and Moon were formed.
