Dictionary presentation at St Michael’s C of E Academy
Year 5 children at St Michael’s C of E Academy were fortunate enough to receive a Dictionary from the King’s Lynn Rotary club, as part of the ‘Dictionaries for life’ project.
Michael Pellizzaro and Michael Walker from the Rotary club visited Year 5 on Wednesday 18th October, and presented each child with an illustrated dictionary.
The children shared their excitement and some even recalled remembering their older siblings having the same dictionary and that they still use it at Secondary school.
Year 5 teacher Millie Fisher added “The children enjoy referring to the dictionaries both in school and at home during homework. They are an excellent resource.”
The children had an opportunity to ask questions about the work and fundraising that the club do and which projects they have been supporting recently.
