Local Abingdonian and long-term Rotarian Peter Clarke receives a glass tankard, presented by the Rotary Club of Abingdon, in recognition of his 60 years of Service to the community as a member of Rotary International!
Like many Rotary Clubs, we are now meeting both online and face-to-face in "hybrid" meetings. We meet on alternate Wednesday evenings and Friday lunchtimes each month, for an informal drink/meal and chat for about half an hour in person, followed by a more formalised discussion or inspirational talk, streamed via Zoom.
On the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of most months we meet upstairs from 7.30pm in our usual venue: The King's Charles Room in The King's Head and Bell pub in central Abingdon.
On the 1st and 3rd Fridays of most months we meet for an informal lunch from 1pm in the Snug of The Brewery Tap on Ock Street, Abingdon.
