Mike Langdon, retired Isler of Man Chief Constable.
Mike Langdon, from Bolton, Greater Manchester, took up the role of Isle of Man Chief Constable on 1 January 2008 and retired from the post in December 2012.
He started his police career at the Lancashire force in 1975 and has also worked at Merseyside Police, where he was Area Commander for North Liverpool.
In 2004 he was awarded the Queen's Police medal.
In 2008 he was also given the job as the chief marshal for TT races.
