Club Zoom Meeting:.
Message from Club Secretary Roger:
Folks
The last time we met face-to-face there was a hope that we'd be able to reconvene at CGC on April 20.
As events have unfolded this has proved to be a tad optimistic to say the least!
That said, we managed an online Council meeting last evening which was broadly successful so the President now proposes we meet online on the next available Monday, this being April 20.
Around April 15 I will circulate instructions as to how to set it up on your computer/laptop/iPad/smartphone and hope that we can maximise attendance.
The format of the evening will be partly as was going to happen on April 20 at CGC ie the AGM and I attach the call notice/agenda.
We will be using the Zoom platform which is 100% secure and easy to set up. In case any of you who didn't meet last evening what to play around with their website before I send the guidelines just Google it.
To make it worthwhile attending Phil has offered to run a fun quiz after the AGM. Something to look forward to and that's me saying that who doesn't particularly enjoy quizzes!
Council minutes will be available for all to read thru the usual channel in a day or so.
Do let me know if you have any queries that I can help with.
The meeting will start at 7.30 (as food wont be served!) and you can wear whatever you want!
Can I ask for any apologies to come to me pls then I know how many to expect at the meeting so that we don't start without you.
I hope that covers it for now.
