Thursday 11th April the Rotary Club of South Queensferry and guests enjoyed a
talk by long-standing member Grainger Falconer. The interesting, often amusing
presentation covered Grainger's early days in the BBC Transmission Department
and his subsequent career as a senior officer in Lothian and Borders Police
where, among other roles, he was closely involved in many aspects of emergency
planning. Grainger was introduced by
Richard Brown. The vote of thanks was proposed by Allan Smith
