Raffle - Graham Leith
Reception - Kate Gibb / Allan Smith

On Thursday 19th September the Rotary Club of South Queensferry held a fellowship meeting in the Hawes Inn. President Jim McCulloch announced that the club had been awarded £2,000 of matched funding from Rotary District 1020. This was applied for by Immediate Past President Sandy Mackenzie and will go towards the Queensferry Churches Care in the Community Trishaw project. The bikes are provided the under licence to communities who have raised funding and the package includes training, insurance and risk assessment. The tricycles are operated by volunteers.  Reports from existing Trishaw schemes include many heart-warming anecdotes of how trips in the open air to well-remembered places benefit older people previously housebound.
