Clay Pigeon Shooting

Sun, Sep 29th 2019 at 10:30 am - 1:30 pm

Rotary South Queensferry Annual Clay Pigeon Shoot

We were blessed to have a dry, sunny day. Unseasonably warm too.

The shoot under instruction included IPP Sandy Mackenzie, Colin Riddell, PP Stuart Ridge, Lesley Beirne and Jason and Toni Roseweir.

Sandy took the top prize in this category.

Rotarians competing for the club trophy were Allan Smith, Drew Graham, Matt Purdie and Derek Clark and included invited guests. The club trophy was won by Allan Smith who achieved the third highest score of the day. Second highest score was Allan's daughter Leanne Chalmers and the highest score was Allan's daughter Fiona Willis. A Smith treble.

Many thanks to Cluny staff for a well organised day and a lovely lunch enjoyed by 20 Rotarians and guests. We were also joined for lunch by honorary member Jim Boyd from Glenrothes club as we were in his neck of the woods. Also thanks to Paula who took about 100 photographs of us all on our annual day out.
