Day 2 for past ADG Howard in his own words: The walk today, Rhyl High School to Colwyn Bay was a fraction shorter (around 12 miles as opposed to 13 yesterday) and was on generally flat ground, but it was a hot day. I made it OK, but was pretty tired by the end. Quite how Mike and Jules are coping with 10 consecutive days is amazing and inspirational. Rod, DK, John W and Hari helped at the start, but had all dropped out by the time we got to ASDA at Kinmel Bay. A couple of members from Abergele walked from that point, but they gave up at Llanddulas. To their credit a large bunch (I estimate 60+) of primary school children walked from Pensarn all the way to Colwyn Bay. Hearty congratulations to Howard; not just for completing two days of the walk, but raising the very healthy sum of over £1,700 for Mike & Jules charity.
