President Jim went along to meet the ‘Friday Guys’ at St Mary’s Community Centre, a group Leyland Rotary is pleased to have helped secure their future.

We handed out lots of free books to children at Leyland Festival, all of which had been donated by the local community. This is just a small part of Leyland Rotary’s voluntary activities.

Provision of a bingo machine, dabbers and bingo tickets to encourage greater social interaction between residents of this supported living accommodation.

Leyland Rotary was delighted to award Leyland in Bloom funds to purchase farmyard manure and mulch to enable them to enrich the soil at the entrance to Leyland Railway Station.

Rotary’s Youth Speaks contributes to improving young people’s oracy skills. Students competed in the final in March 2025. Click on details for more information and the results.

Leyland Rotary is delighted to have been able to provide financial support to Infinity Cheer and Dance to assist in their work with children and young people.

At the start of his presidential year, Rotarian Jim Costello outlined his hopes that in our 70th year we in Leyland Rotary will be able to expand our involvement with the local community.
