Well done Val - she did it!

“Well, I’ve done it and it was an amazing experience. We flew at 7000 feet and headed from North Weald towards Chelmsford. I asked if we could fly over Hylands House and Park as there was an Open Day there with which I would have been involved. The House looked like a doll’s house and the parked cars like Dinky toys. The tall buildings of London were visible on the horizon.  I was allowed to bank left and right but the pilot made the 360 degrees turn to get us back to North Weald, where we landed smoothly and taxied back to the ‘terminus’.”

Thank you to everyone who sponsored Val.  If you would like to contribute there's still time.
