Easter Eggstravaganza

Trinity's Easter Egg Project

For the last couple of years Trinity have participated in this project donating giant Easter Eggs to junior schools, charities and businesses to raffle for fund raising.

Twenty 2 Kilogram eggs were given out which amounts to an awful lot of chocolate!

The schools raised funds for their own individual causes with the ultimate aim of benefiting their pupils. Fairly obviously the Charities such as the Purfleet Trust and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital raised money for their own charitable funds and the businesses such as local Pubs & Clubs kindly agreed that funds raised would cover the cost of the eggs and the surplus would go to Trinity Rotary Club's own Charity fund

Our grateful thanks to British Sugar at Wissington who raised a tremendous £1185 with their raffle.

A worthwhile project which will be repeated
