Nidderdale Charity Walk

The Rotary Club of Harrogate Nidderdale Charity Walk 

Our 31st charity Walk and Run took place on Sunday 18th May 2025, starting from the Scout Hall in Pateley Bridge.  Look at our website www.nidderdalewalk.com

There were six walks of approximately four, eight, fifteen, eighteen, twenty two and twenty six miles. The main route is the marathon but walkers and runners can enter whichever distance they wish. All routes start at Pateley Bridge and head up Nidderdale towards and beyond Lofthouse. Full details of the routes and Ts&Cs can be found on the website

The whole purpose of our Walks is to raise money for charities and, as in previous years, all sponsorship monies raised by walkers are for the benefit of their own nominated charities. To date, walkers have raised over £1,000,000 - an amazing achievement. This year the event was supported by thirty local charities and those that provide at least ten adult entrants recieved a donation from the Rotary Club of 50% of their entry fees. 

We thank all our participants for their support and, of course, would welcome further entrants for this excellent and well established event in 2026 - watch this space!
