Technology Tournament

Tue, Jun 24th 2025 at 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Our first Rotary Technology Tournament was held at Crown Hills Community College.

We held our first ever Rotary Technology Tournament recently at Crown Hills Community College There were six teams competing from The Castle Rock School, The Winstanley School and our host school. The challenge was to design and build a model space capsule launcher utilising STEM skills in a fun way. The winning teams in the Intermediate and Foundation categories were both from The Castle Rock School.

We would like to thank all those who helped our Club to launch this event, our judges on the day, our hosts and in particular Nick Thomson of The Rotary Club of Leicester. It was a hugely enjoyable event and we are already keen to start planning for next year.
