Tangible support is given by both the Club and individual Rotarians to the Lend with Care scheme, whose objective is to encourage and support entrepreneurs in poor countries around the world by means of the provision of loans to enable those entrepreneurs to develop their businesses.
The first loan we made was for £30 in April 2014 to a farmer in Cambodia since then we have made 36 loans up to now and lent £11,134.
Having been involved with this scheme for over 6 years now, no defaults on the loans made has been experienced.
