Car rally parking stewarding VSCC hill climb

We enjoyed stewarding for this exciting event and raised over £1600 for the Air Ambulances and local charities.


We were happy to be invited back to Cwm Whitton to act as stewards for visitor parking for this exciting event. We collected a voluntary donation from each visitor's car to raise money for the Wales Air Ambulance and the Midlands Air Ambulance. Both of these air ambulances service our area...... 

It was a lovely day weatherwise, which reduced the usual muddy fields that can present a challenge, not only for the visitors but our Rotary members as well. However the vintage sports cars that competed the hill climbs were well prepared for any weather and still got covered in mud, as you can see in these photos.  

Many thanks to everyone who donated to our fundraising efforts, as well as to all the Rotary members and friends that made the parking run so smoothly. You will be very pleased to know that we raised over £1600, the majority which will go to the Air Ambulances and the rest to local charities.
